Step-by-Step: How to Book Your Court
Select Your Leisure Centre & Target Date
Use the quick-select buttons for Reading facilities (Rivermead, Palmer Park, Meadway, South Reading) or search for any of the 256+ Better leisure centres across the UK.
Choose Preferred Times (In Priority Order)
Click the time buttons to select the hours you’d like to play (e.g. 18:00, 19:00, 20:00).
Smart Fallback: The sniper checks your chosen times in priority order. If 19:00 is already taken, it instantly snags 20:00 or 18:00 so you never walk away empty-handed!
Enter Your Better UK Login (Email or Member ID)
Enter your email address or your 8-digit Member ID / Membership Card number, along with your Better password (bookings.better.org.uk).
Sniper Options & Schedule 22:00
• Daily Racquets Benefit (£0.00 Court): Keep checked (default). If you have an active Better Racquets membership (e.g. Adult UK-Wide + Daily Raquets), this applies your allowance so court cost becomes £0.00.
• Auto-Complete Checkout: Keep checked (default). Settle £0.00 orders automatically.
Click "Schedule 22:00" to arm the sniper. Your task is saved in the Active Tasks list. You can close your browser tab or phone — the sniper runs 24/7 in the cloud.
What Happens at 22:00:00 (The Drop)
How checkout works depending on your account type
Zero Action Needed — Fully Automatic!
• If your membership includes Daily Racquets or inclusive courts (such as Adult UK-Wide + Daily Raquets), the sniper applies your benefit and reduces the price to £0.00.
• It then instantly completes checkout via Better's API.
• You don't need to be awake or log in at 22:00!
• Better will email you the official booking confirmation, and the court will be waiting in your app calendar.
Pay in Basket at 22:00:05
• Because a debit/credit card payment is required, the sniper locks the court into your Better shopping basket.
• Set an alarm for 21:59. At 22:00:05, open the Better app or bookings.better.org.uk.
• Tap your Shopping Cart / Basket icon. Your court is held with a 15-minute countdown. Click Checkout and pay with your card!

Yes! Click "Check Live Slots Now" on the dashboard to see what is currently open today. Select one of those slots, schedule a test task, and click the green "Snipe Now" play button. It will immediately add the slot to your Better basket so you can see it working!
Can my friends and I schedule tasks on the same night?
Yes! The sniper runs multiple tasks concurrently. Each task uses its own Better credentials and books into that player's respective basket.
What if I want to cancel a scheduled snipe?
In the Active Sniping Tasks table at the bottom of the dashboard, simply click the red trash can icon next to your task anytime before 22:00.
